Villa Nostos is closed to two other houses: Estia (max 4) and Pontos (4-6 people). All houses have access to a saltwater pool and jacuzzi, as well as large terraces around the pool. If you do not want both in the pool, there is a secret path nearby that goes through the fragrant olive grove and leads you to the well-known beach Kalogria where the novel Zorba was written. Nostos (Nόστος) means in Greek "homesickness, the journey home" and so you will feel: at home with better weather of course. Tasteful furnishings, well-equipped kitchen combined with a nice living room and private terrace where you can enjoy a breakfast with a view.
In the house you will find everything that may be needed: complete utensils, stove, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine, ironing board and hair dryer. Excellent internet connection and TV with USB port. Towels and linen are changed every 3 days. You can park your car comfortably in the area.
When booking a deposit of 30% of the total price is paid. Payment is made by bank transfer. Remaining amount is due on arrival or by bank transfer before arrival. The deposit fee is refundable upon cancellation by 60 days prior to arrival. For longer bookings, a special offer is applied.
On the southern coast of the Peloponnese in Greece and about 50 minutes drive from the nearest airport in Kalamata (or about 3 hours drive from Athens International Airport) is the beautiful and unspoilt village of Stoupa with warm, glorious summers and mild winters. With two lovely sandy golden beaches (as well as several smaller beaches), this once sleepy village has become more and more popular as a tourist destination but still retains the genuine Greece. There are about 20 taverns and restaurants along the promenade where you can enjoy delicious local and traditional Greek cuisine.
The author Nikos Kazantzakis who wrote Zorba the Greek when he lived here and his statue can be seen looking over the Kalogrias border. For history lovers, Stoupa is ideally located for visiting such fascinating places as Olympia and Mystras - or you can just sit on the beach or in a taverna and sip an ouzo with locals!
